Audit Manager

Our West Des Moines office is looking for a Audit Manager to lead and manage multiple operations of the attest practice area and serve as business advisor to our clients.

Audit Manager’s responsibilities include:

• Delivering a full range of assurance services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
• Building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting, and expertise
• Oversee assurance services
• Identify and mitigate audit risks
• Coordinate accounting staff and assess their performance
• Manage tax provision and tax compliance process
• Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices

Qualifications for this position include:

• Proven work experience as an audit manager
• Excellent knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
• Knowledge of CCH ProSystem’s Engagement software and MS Office
• Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
• Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships
• Strong leadership and personnel management skills
• Analytical skills with detail orientation
• BA in Accounting, hold an active CPA license, and have 5 years of experience in public accounting assurance work
